Dance with me...

<sub>A very vivid dream I had. It inspired the idea for this dream series.

Series Description
Dreams are mysterious things, ever since the start of time people have been trying to understand them and their purpose.
There are many theories that have been created about dreams, and a lot of research has been done on them.
One of the speculations is that the subconscious mind pieces together bits of information and the result is the creation of dreams. But even with this theory it still does not fully explain why we dream everything that we do...
Our subconscious makes connections between events and relays patterns to our brain.
Do these results really point to something? Do they point to important things that we should be aware of? Or is this just a bit of guess work.
The title of this creative project is “Inside our dreams” it will explore into the depths of meaning and images of our dreams.

As far as I can remember I have always had fairly vivid dreams, and up until recently I never gave them much thought. Also, I have always thought that many of my dreams were weird, but then I think fairly differently so I expect my dreams reflect that.
The reason I chose this concept surrounding dreams for my project was that I started to have the same person re-occurring in my dreams. They have been in my dreams for several years and I had always thought that it was weird, but no more than usual. Then they started appearing much more often. It put me on edge, I really had no connection with this person so why were they in my dreams.

The original purpose was to find out if our dreams have another purpose, other than to fill our sleep with stories.
Why we have dreams?
The idea of 'What do our dreams mean' is only a very shallow look into them.
I wanted to dig deeper, get to the heart of them.
Which is no simple task, as they can not be recorded or monitored in full. "It's like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands".</sub>
